Standard Payment & Service Terms
1. Payment Schedule
• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure the project start date.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance is Due on Receipt upon completion of the defined scope of work.
• Late Fees: Payments not received within 7 days of project completion will incur a late fee of 5% per month on the outstanding balance.
2. Mobilization & Fuel
• A flat Mobilization Fee of $[Insert Amount] applies to all projects to cover equipment transport, loading/unloading, and initial setup.
• Estimates are based on current diesel prices; any project lasting longer than 5 days may be subject to a fuel surcharge if market prices increase significantly during the job.
3. Site Conditions & Utilities
• Underground Hazards: The Client is responsible for marking all private underground utilities (sprinklers, invisible fences, private power lines). [Your Company Name] is not liable for damage to unmarked private lines.
• Property Lines: Client must clearly mark property boundaries. [Your Company Name] assumes no liability for work performed outside of boundaries if they were incorrectly marked by the Client.
4. Scope of Work (The "Change Order")
• This estimate covers only the specific tasks listed in the "Scope of Work." Any additional clearing, stump grinding, or hauling requested after work has begun will be billed as a Change Order at a rate of $[Your Hourly Rate]/hour.
5. Equipment & Access
• Client must provide clear and stable access for the truck and machinery.
• Simon's Land Services LLC is not responsible for minor "ruts" or ground disturbance caused by heavy equipment (F250 and [Machine Type]) which is an inherent part of the land clearing process.
